The Acme Church is a family of Christian believers called by God to reach and serve His people. God desired that our church be established on three key principles which are to Live, Love, and Labor all for the glory of God. We strive to live out boldly our profession of faith in God the Father, Jesus the Son, and in our fellowship with the Holy Spirit. When we practice the art of love; we love without limits sacrificing as God the Father did for us (John 3:16)(Rom.5:8)(John 15:13). Our love for God and His people then pushes us to labor. In other words, we put the well being of others before ourselves. Our church is beyond the walls of the sanctuary. We are focused on being a thriving part of our community in whatever way God will use us. Our prayer is that our church will bring families back to God and His church through the word and love in action.
ABOUT US
Pastor Eric is the planting pastor of Acme Church, and a native Houstonian.
He has served in many areas of ministry, but most frequently as a drummer for a number of ministries over the years. He was ordained as a minister of the gospel by his father, Pastor Thomas Murray, on June 5th, 2005 at the New Life Baptist Church in Missouri City, Texas. Pastor Eric was raised on the Southwest side of Houston, and he finds it exciting to return and serve the community where he was raised. He's a family man, the husband of Susie Murray and the father of twins Eric Jr. and Kaydence.

OUR PASTOR
Pastor Eric has a heart to lead, serve, and love God's people from all walks of life. His understanding is that the same forgiveness and grace he found in Jesus Christ is available to all who will receive it. He believes that there is a generation longing to know that there is a God who cares for them, and that with God's help they'll come home. His goal is to preach the gospel of Jesus to the world one soul at a time, through worship and building relationships, and to maintain the integrity of the Scriptures.
Upon your arrival to our church, expect to be greeted with the love of God from smiling faces. Our church family is your church family. The worship experience is one of excitement and freedom. You will be surrounded by believers who have gathered together to demonstrate their appreciation and adoration for a great, mighty, and worthy God. The Praise and Worship will draw you in, to forget the burdens you've carried in and help you to release them to a caring Lord and Savior. The preached word is designed to be impactful and convicting to our souls. It's preached plainly so that we may obtain the principles of the text and apply those principles to our daily lives for growth. You
